A balance of candid, reportage photography, and creative use of location and light, gives Jo's wedding clients the full story of their day in a collection of photographs that is individually very special. Discreet bridal preparation observed from a distance, the significance and intensity of the marriage ceremony, the happiness and delight of the bride and groom, the classic mantelpiece family portraits, the fun and festivities with family and friends, are all captured in a way that allows you, the bride and groom, to enjoy time with your guests and each other.
Unobtrusively, Jo works quietly to catch the special moments naturally without staging. At some point during the day, she will steal a few quiet moments with you away from prying eyes, to create stunning contemporary wedding portraits using the natural light and backdrops of your venue.
Jo works in wedding venues across London and the South East including Surrey and Kent. She has photographed at most of the popular wedding venues in central London, Reigate, Guildford, Maidstone and principal locations across Surrey. Jo's prices are good value and mid-range in the market, from £800 to £1800. Jo can work with you to decide how best to preserve your wedding photos, through a selection of albums, books, and frames. Family and friends can also view your wedding photos on a personal web gallery after the wedding.

Jo's ability to put people at ease, whether that be a shy teenager, a newborn baby or a runaway toddler, combined with an eye for what makes an original yet natural photograph, allows the individuality of her clients to shine through in her stunning family portraits.
Jo's family photography is all about capturing real emotions of a moment in time - the joy of your newborn baby, or just the everyday normality of family life at home.
Jo's success as a portrait photographer is as much about her passion to capture real personalities, as it is about her undoubted technical ability. Jo never loses sight of the fundamentals of photography - light, composition, and emotion.
All Jo's family portraits are taken on location, either at your home, or a favourite memorable place such as a local park or country house. There is no blank white studio, Jo uses the natural light and textures at each location to create something unique and special for you.
Being relaxed in familiar surroundings makes the experience more natural and, above all, enjoyable. This produces a far more personal set of photos, and captures memories of childhood surroundings at the same time. The sittings are always fun, and you will be left with a set of photographs that document family moments like no other, and can be looked back on in the years ahead. Jo will guide the portrait sitting at a pace suited to your baby or children, her patience is endless and she can naturally bring out the best in them. With older children, Jo will often photograph them alone, allowing her to bring out another side to their personality. Jo also offers family event photography, predominantly focusing on taking natural candid shots of the event, however a number of family portraits can also be taken before or after to create family photos of a more formal reminder.

Event photography
Jo is available for commissioned work at an hourly rate of £80 p/hour. This includes a basic level of photoshop retouching work.
Jo has produced contemporary headshots for a range of corporate clients and also for model portfolios. She has provided varying photographs to accompany magazine features, and has worked on a number of music album covers.
Jo also undertakes event photography at corporate hospitality events such as Christmas parties, exhibitions or product launches.
